Sweet & creamy tropical smoothie with banana, mango, and pineapple! (Vegan, gluten-free)
What happens when your stove and oven are under repair? THESE bright & beautiful smoothies all week long – whoop whoop! Pretty sure it’s my favorite smoothie yet. The smell alone immediately transports me to an island sitting under palm trees with warm sand between my toes… paradise 🌴 The key is using a base of both orange juice + milk. It creates perfect texture – fresh and sweet yet slightly creamy. I usually take the help of frozen mango and pineapple, but if you have fresh that works great as well. Alter the ingredients as you see fit. Smoothies are never an exact science for me, so the amounts below are just a guideline. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do – meet you at the beach! 😉
Tropical Sunshine Smoothie
Sweet & creamy tropical smoothie with banana, mango, and pineapple! These beauties mentally transport us to a tropical island under the palm trees!
- 1 ripe banana (I use frozen)
- 1 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
- Peaches, agave for extra sweetness
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Adjust if necessary (more liquid to thin, agave for more sweetness, etc.)
