Vegan Broccoli Recipes

Varieties: Most of the time I use standard green broccoli which is widely available in stores and markets. The recipes below all use regular green broccoli since that's the most available type.
Availability: Broccoli is available year-round, however peak season is in the colder months. This is often when you'll find the tenderness, flavor, and cost at its best.
Buying tip: For best flavor and nutrients, look for tightly closed floret clusters that are dark green in color. Stalks and stems should be firm, with vibrant leaves that aren't wilted.
