- Pasta: Seek out pasta made from lentils, beans, quinoa, or brown rice (instead of wheat flour).
- Flour: Choose baking flours made from almonds, chickpeas, sorghum, or oats. (Staples in my kitchen are almond flour, gluten-free oat flour, and "Bob's Red Mill" gluten-free all-purpose baking flour which is an easy 1:1 swap for regular all-purpose.)
- Soy sauce: Use tamari or coconut aminos instead for gluten-free! (Traditional soy sauce isn't gluten-free since it's brewed with wheat.)
- Tortillas: Seek out gluten-free tortillas or corn tortillas in place of regular wheat flour tortillas. Lettuce wraps also work great for lighter dishes.
- Grains: Incorporate naturally gluten-free whole grains into your diet such as quinoa, rice, amaranth, millet, pure buckwheat, and sorghum. (Grains that are not gluten-free include barley, rye, spelt, farro, kamut, and durum wheat.)
